No, really, avatar is going to suck horsebollocks, it's like some unimaginable evil took the awesome warhammer 40K space marines, gave them UNSC armor and a few vertibirds, took a few elves and painted them blue then made them fight eachother. It's like simultaneosly raping 2 genres and 2 sub genres at once! Sci fi, Fantasy, Space marines and elves. The story also sounds very cliche.

Thingy, I'm going to murder you in your sleep. You, in your own little way, insulted EVERYONE that likes the previews for the movie and is highly anticipating it. Also, you insulted the people that worked on that movie for almost 2 years straight! God, I'm going to steal alka's spork and beat you with it.. Never been so insulted in my life...

anyways yeah, i imagine the whole 3d thing will be cool, but I highly doubt this film will be anywhere near as epic as it's said to be. anyways, i'll know for certain as i'll be screening it tomorrow to make sure the digital print works. good bye 3 hours of my life.....

it's just a movie and probably not a terrific one at that, don't take it so personally

It is going to be. I know you can't base everything off of previews, but it's going to be amazing.

Eh... Calm down. How the hell did i insult you by saying it's going to suck? It's a movie, not your mother. I mean, that's like saying darkwing insulted a few hundred thousand people for not liking battlestar galactica. It's just personal opinion.

And i think it's going to be 2 hours of that cameron dude saying ''OH LOOK AT US! WE HAVE 3D! THAT'S LIKE, 2 DIMENSIONS MORE THAN 1D! WOOOT!''. The game looks kind of good though... Like hitler said.

in fact, you've just made a bigger insult towards the makers than thingy ever did... the movie has been worked on for at least 15 years. Read the wiki before you say anything else, the script was already written in 1994.

About the subject of unoriginality, Cameron himself said his inspiration was "every single science fiction book I read as a kid", so that pretty much sums it up.

Yes, it's cliché. Yes, it's a major Hollywood production. Yes, half the budget has been spent on advertisement. Yes, the plot itself is going to be aggravating. Yes, it's probably going to beat Titanic in total revenue.

Meh alright.. Don't know what's gotten to me this week... evil mood swings are evil.. I do say though thingy, your kind of jumping the gun on the movie. Give it a chance atleast before bashing it. The previews are exceptional, and I can't wait to see the finished product. I can tell you a movie with a bit of fail.... 9.

Agreed, dont knock it before you try it. I want to see this myself.
