Part 2: The Prophecy

"Sir, we've detected one thing on sensors..." Said the Tac Officer...

"What is it..."

"Do you recognize it?" He showed a image with a side-view of the ship...

"Hey... isn't that our Delkoni friend?"

"It is, sir... I'm reading Serinity on their IFF... should we interrupt him?"

"Nah... let him alone... if he tries to chase us we've two frigates protecting us, so..."

Both ships continued in their ways, passing by a few kilometers from each other...

The Serinity landed in a shipyard on the planet.

As Jacob and Adriana walked off the docking platform they immidiately noticed that something major was happening on Aerelis.

"Something's going on on the planet." Adriana observed.

"No doubt. Something is indeed different." said Jacob.

They both asked for diplomatic residence in the embassy.

Adriana asked an Aerelian diplomat, "May we get a meeting to see the Queen?"

The Aerelian sulkingly replied, "....her Majesty is dead...."

Adriana flinched. "I'm so sorry. May we see the..."

"May we see his Emperial Majesty Sadow?" asked Jacob.

The Aerelian said, "I will try to set up an appointment with him but do not expect to see him soon...what is your mission for."

Adriana said, "The Delkoni Government wishes to officially apologize to his Majesty aswell as ask to be updated on the current situation."

As the Aereilian went into a closed room Jacob whispered, "Haven't I already briefed you?"

Adriana whispered back, "I want some information from an official statesman."

Jacob grunted, "Figures..."

The Aerelian came back and said, "The King is really busy right now can we give you an appointment with somebody else?"

Adriana started, "That will be-"

"Can you send word that the Delkoni he picked up is asking to see him aswell?"

The Aerelian sighed, "If you insist."

Adriana gave Jacob a quick stare and then Jacob thanked the Aerelian and he and Adriana were escorted to their quarters.

The Discovery started vibrating...

"What was that?" Asked I

"A vibration sir... shouldn't happen agai..." As the TacOfficer said another one happened...

"Well, it happened again..." Said I...

Suddenly the vibration become more intensive...

"What's happening?"

"I don't know sir! It seems like we're being pulled into something!" Said the Helm...

"Sir! I'm detecting massive gravity forces in the area!" Said the Science Officer, right before sparkles started exploding on the bridge...

"A black hole?" Asked I

"Doesn't seems so... We're detecting radiation emissions from the source of the gravity... Probably a Wormhole!" Said the SO...

Devon was heading right to it...

What the hell is he doing? thought Cannon

Don't worry, follow me said Devon's voice inside his head...

"Full thrusters! Head towards the Wormhole!" Said I...

As Devon, the fighters, and now the Frigates were entering in the Wormhole, Cannon could only think what was in the other side of that Wormhole...

As nobody play without someone has the initiative of double-posting... I will do it...

The Discovery exited of the wormhole, which, started to destabilize...

"Sir, the wormhole is colapsing!" Said the science officer

"What?" Said I "Order all ships to get clear ASAP!"

"Aye, sir..." Said the Comms Officer

The ships, without being able of FTL travel due to the radiations of the Wormhole, had to run in sublight, being the Discovery the slower... Suddenly the Wormhole explodes...

"Polarize hull plating!" Said I "Everyone brace for impact!"

The shockwave hit the Discovery with great power, taking out it's sublight engines and making a few scratches...

"Damage report!" Ordered I

"Only a few scratches! And our engines shutted down! We can repower them anytime we want sir!" Said the Chief-Engineer

"Ok, power them up!"

"Aye, sir..."

The ships engines were powered up and they randevued with the rest of the fleet, outside the damage zone...

"Science Officer, coordinate with those two ships and try to locate us..."

"Aye, sir..."

Let's see what we have here

Jacob woke up, got dressed and then went to get something to eat.

As he exited his room he saw Adriana's door open. Out stepped Adriana.

"Well, what are we going to do while we wait." asked Jacob.

"Do you have any ideas? I haven't been to this planet before." replyed Adriana.

"Ummm.....they don't do much for entertainment but while I was searching last time I saw that they had some type of sport.", offered Jacob.

"That's better than nothing. Where is it at?"

"It's near here, it's at the...park."

They then set off.

"Sir, we've finished scan of the area..." Said the Science Officer...

"So, how's our state?" Asked I

"It seems like the universe shrank up to 550 millions kilometers..."

"What?"

"It seems we're inside a perfect sphere... Made of some sort of heavy metal... And just to finish the picture, there's a small white dwarf in the exact center of the sphere..."~

"So?"

"Sir! We're inside a Dyson Sphere! A structure made to keep the heat of a dying star inside it's limits, in order to keep the planets inside it habitable..."

"Oh... I see... And there's any way out?"

"I don't think so... It seems to be perfect... Except some relativelly small irregularities in the edge..."

"Let me guess... Buildings?"

"Right sir..."

"And the planets?"

"All frozen, no signs of life..."

"Damn... Helm... Can we use FTL?"

"Yes, sir..." Replyed Helm

"So, set course for the edge of the sphere... We might find some way of exiting... Relay our course to the rest of the fleet, and tell them to follow us..."

"Aye, sir!"

"...And it's Devon on board already?"

"Yes, sir..." Said Tactical "But we needed to drag him!"

Tipical

"Sir, the fleet is ready to go and the fighters are docked on the aerelia... I mean aerelis ships" Said the Helm.

"Relax, use the word at easy..." Said I "Engadge!"

The fleet exited FTL nearby the inner surface of the sphere...

"So, what do we got?" Asked I...

"A cold metalic surface... and a few habitational zones... nothing else..." Said the Science Officer...

"Ok... Tac... Send Devon and an away team to the sphere... I wanna know more about this thing..."

"Aye, sir..." Said the Tactical Officer...
