Google's Public DNS Empty Google's Public DNS

You might wanna check this out!

http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/

If you don't already know, a DNS (Domain Name System) is what makes it possible to open up your browser and type in www.google.com, instead of having to type in google's IP address instead.

Let's see if it tops Open DNS after it's developed. (I won't be surprised if it does. After all, this is google we're talking about.)

Anyways, if you want to try it, here's the instructions: http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using.html

BTW, if your DNS sucks right now, or if you want to see if it sucks, I suggest trying out Google's DNS.

Not necessarily.

The difference is often speed. But, it depends on your DNS.
