When I was down in Miami, I was at this pizza place, and all of these people were speaking super fast spanish (I'm used to talking to mexicans lol), or Portuguese.

inglourious basterds, too gory for me personally, despite that, it seemed to have an interesdtingly unique atmosphere that i found somewhat captviating. i also wanted to see men who stare at goats. from my cinema checks, it looked really funny, but alas, we no longer have it, well, actually, i'm to break the film down on tuesday, so tuesday we will no longr have it in the building

Anyway, you're right, it IS pretty gory... But whether you like it or not is up to personal taste.
Personally i liked those over the top scenes where the cinema goes up into pretty flames the most awesome part of the whole movie. I am a bit of a pyromaniac. :p

Unfortunately almost every Brad Pitt scene was just... awkward... *shivers* the Italian pronunciation scene was just begging me to put it on ffwd.

Next best scene must be the German accent scene. balls to the walls, 'nuff said. :p



What do you mean by breaking down the film btw?

when a film comes in a print, it comes in roughly 4-6 reels of film which then have to be spliced together in one big reel to be played through the projector. when the film is done, it then has to be broken down at the splices into the smaller reels again for transportation purposes

also, what's that, analog film?

no, 35mm. In all technicality, there isn't such a thing as analog film, it's just analog video. The strips like what are in a VCR tape is not true film. It actually has a real name i believe, but I forget what, but anytime one uses film in a sentence, it is technically referring to actual film with frames of footage on it.

If you're getting a new computer and get to choose what computer, FOR GODS SAKE DONT BUY A PREMADE COMPUTER. They're

1. Expensive as hell
2. Underpowered as hell if you have a budget under 10,000 kr (1500 USD... I think...)
3. Low quality to the extreme
4. Hard as hell to upgrade

Buy the parts and get someone else to assemble it if you cant. It'll be cheaper and much better if you ask the right people about the components/have enough experience.

Thats most likely whats going to happen. I'll get parts for one and have someone build it for me.

Well, other than my religious activities.....

I'm planning on going on a hiking trip with a whole bunch of people.

That, and next month I'm going to try and camp out at the RBC build that's scheduled. (Regional Building Crew, we build Kingdom Halls)

But, I guess that counts as sorta a religious activity. LOL

We're gonna build a huge fire, cause it's out in the middle of nowhere. Yes... fire....

Trying to get the last BSG season 4.5 blu ray working... All other blu ray discs work except BSG... Frakking laptop...

And i've gone on a game shopping spree. Steam has a 5 day sale with new stuff being put on sale every 24 hours and impulse had a thanksgiving sale. It's not good for my account, but now i have a gigantic game collection.
