4. Quick on his feet and natural fighter. He can think on his feet, and get a good handle on any situation posed to him. Slightly above average strength than humans, and a deadly shot with ranged weaponry.

ok, though i will break one of the posted rules, and that will be to create a short history, but this will assist in the fore-knowledge of the plot:

Devon Straight
Race: Human
Average human height, male, blue eyes, light brown hair.
Originally shy by nature, turned into an introvert. Keeps secrets and rarely engages conversations, but listens to them instead. Exceptionally intelligent for a human, this possibly caused by an abnormality in his brain allowing for larger "data" storage.
Age: Mid-Twenties

History-ish
Raised in a fairly secluded area of the planet earth, the discovery of the alien races were made shortly after he turned 5. This didn't effect his life initially, but while going through school, he proved to have a higher apptitude for learning and quickly rose to top of his class. Near the end of high school, his entire family was killed in a mysterious fire. Devon was not around at the time, therefore making him the sole survivor. Originally being just plain up shy, this turn of events made Devon internally angry at himself. Just after graduation, Devon was approached by officials of the Terran Union. He was enlisted into the United Nations of Special Forces (UNSF) a top secret division of the (useless) peacekeeping group. This division was created in direct response to the discovery of the alien races and are the only ones to have had direct contact with all of them.

gah. i was gonna use Devona for a name before i read that post... of course, that would be a bad idea now.

She is the embodiment of the stereotypical big grumpy old cat. Usually she's just lazying around, watching people as they do their things. She rarely exhibits any more activity than a casual flick of the tail or eye batting, but that doesn't mean she's asleep. She almost always acts like she doesnt know of anyone else's existence, but you better beware if her unusual curiosity is roused.

Race: Human
Strong (for a human), slightly tall, male, brown eyes, light brown/blonde long hair.
Strong character, aptitude for leadership, he carefull places his words. He can insult you and still keeping you thinking he has just complemented you. Intelligent.
Age: 35

History:
Since children he has showed an extreme aptitude for maths, but his leadership and teamwork capabilities only became noticed during his teenage... He passed college with excelent marks and graduated on the UNSC Academy as the top of his class... He was offered the only chance of piloting the first FTL capable ship of the Human Race, but until now, a lot of reverse engineering was needed to be made any type of FTL drive.

The aliens entered on his life during his teenage, were a massive histeria created a small scaled civil-war on several Earth Capitals... His Dad died during those events...
