Essay Topic?

I have no idea what I should do for my english essay.

It has to be 3 to 7 pages long, and that's all she wrote.

Any ideas?

That's far too many. And, I don't know if I have the will power for that at the moment.

Hm, you could just go with three or so things that are just pet peeves to you and write a page on each one. Or you could just write about yourself.

Cats: Man's second best friend (Next to the Dog)
Cats, like almost all pets, have furs. They are furry and cuddly at best, but at worst, a cat can cause serious damage to property. When you have a cat at home, you might see deep scratches on sofas. They most probably belong to teh cat.

Cats, unlike Dogs, will urge you to feed them at meal times. If you don't feed them, they might run away, resulting in stray cats. These cats may be dormant, lazing around a food court waiting for humans to feed them. That might be dangerous.

The cats may follow you around, expecting more food from you. If not, they will injure you and force you to give food to them and they will be captured by the animal control, which spells the end of their lives in the streets, which is all not that drab.

With a little info from the library and observation of stray cats' behaviour might help you if you are planning to write on cats. One thing my teacher told me is to let the story flow into greater stories and so forth. Merge ideas, move paragraphs, etc.
