Was this decade the worst ever?

In some ways, no. The 40's were much worse.

And in other ways yes. Morals are lower (expected), the earth is in more shambles, the economy is in the septic tank, that huge tsunami, Katrina, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

I also think that maybe people went into this decade with too high of expectations.

well, i know 2009 is the worst year i've ever lived through, and this has been a difficult decade, but the thirties were most likely the worst with the depression and all

Is it just me, or has the world just gone kinda crazy within the past 2 years?

I can't really explain it, but do you know what I mean?

hmm yes, of course i suppose everyone has said that for every two years that have ever happened, like think of 1941 or something, they would of thought the world had gone to the dogs back then what with the war and all, which reminds me:

Well... as people here use to say: "Today was the worst day since yesterday...", probably the same thing applies here... the present is always worse than the past and worser than the future...

In a way, it's still said today
