Yeah, so decided to get this started up again, since it was for most discussions.


Well, was almost late to class today. I slept in so I had to drive in the rain, which wasn't fun at all. Then I end up with 5 minutes to spare, so I just went to class. It's definately not like high school, your late when your late, there is nothing about it. Anyway, decided to get on because I have nothing else to do.. The movie in class is quite boring.

That stinks. I don't drive yet, I have to walk several blocks to my bus stop every morning...in the freezing cold...without my good coat on...

same here... it was actually freezing this morning, for the first time this year

there will be a cold winter, that's for sure.

so do i, but at least it means we can start to disregard global warming a little more. seriously, global warming is [messed] up.

we offspring fans have a line for that, but i'm sure it's in the rules somewhere.

anyway, i either like extreme cold weather like alpine, or extreme heat, but no the lame winters we have here.

hmmm, dad got fed up with life today and bought a 32 inch high def television. mom's not to happy.

it doesn't happen often, especially in my household. I guess now we need a blu-ray player!

I can't wait until November, Star Trek will come out, it will finally be cool in Texas, and thanksgiving brake will start.

well, so far this is pretty cool. i have my laptop connected to the TV and I can watch youtube vids in HD on the TV, looks pretty sharp too!

Not fair!!!

Ah well. I have a normal TV, that's better than no TV at all.

ok, so i'm not certain, but the PC plays DVDs better on the HD tv then the DVD player does, so I think we might be permanently connecting the PC to the TV to use as a monitor. Finally my media center will be put to good use, and its quite freaky really, using the 32 inch as a monitor. plus side is watching HD vids on the PC!

i have a 36" in my sitting room and a 32" in my bedroom and it is awsome sadly i cant connect my laptop dam windows saying the tv isnt compatible

i'm assuming you adjusted you monitor resolution on the PC. I had to on the mac. I first had to adjust it to 720 before activating mirroring
